Dalia Rawson, Executive Director
“I applaud the commitment of The New Ballet School to the community of San Jose. The faculty’s passion for the art form of classical ballet is surpassed by the passion they have for the wellbeing of the student population, so that each student can achieve his or her maximum potential.”
-Raymond Lukens, Artistic Director of the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum
Welcome to The New Ballet School. Providing unparalleled training for serious pre-professional ballet students, The New Ballet School is proud to feature the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. The New Ballet School is an American Ballet Theatre Certified School.
Training at the New Ballet School focuses on developmentally appropriate instruction and dancer health for each student. Our certified teaching staff has many years experience bringing high quality artistic training to students ranging from 18 months to 22 years old. The majority of our staff have danced professionally and understand first hand the elements required for an artist's development.
Students enjoy classes in large, well equipped studios accompanied by live piano and have several performance opportunities during the year. New students are welcome to attend a free trial class or placement class appropriate for their age level. Please call to schedule a class time and we look forward to seeing you in the studios.
